RETURN & REFUND
RETURNS
If you are unhappy with the item, you can return it within 30 days of purchase and receive a refund.
Please email info@whitebasis.com directly to arrange for the return of your item. In order to proceed your return request as quickly as possible, we would like to receive the following information:
- Order number
- Item to return
- Return reason
- A picture of the defective/faulty item within 14 days of purchase (only if applicable)
When your return request has been authorized, we will contact you via e-mail immediately with the return address and further details.
Please note that pierced earrings or jewelry sets containing earrings cannot be returned or exchanged due to hygiene reasons. This applies even in cases where the pierced earrings have never been worn. Gifted items are not eligible for return or replacement.
The item(s) must be returned in unworn and undamaged condition in the original packaging including original gift box.
Returns of defective items are limited to defects not caused by accident ( for instance bent or cracked ring, broken chain etc.), normal wear and tear, abuse, negligence, improper use or storage of the product, modification or use outside White Basis's material guide. Returns that are damaged or soiled may not be accepted. Tarnishing is not considered a manufacturing defect and can occur due to chemical reactions with your skin moisture and alloys within the metal.
We provide one free return label for items that have a manufacturing defect only. Otherwise, the costs of return are at the customer's expense. We recommend using a registered/trackable shipping method as we do not take any responsibility for loss or damage to your return during transport. Save your tracking code as proof of shipping. If your order has been returned to the shipper due to unavailability, we reserve the right to charge a return to sender fee (the cost of standard shipping for your area will be deducted from your refund) to cover return shipping due to your refusal.
REFUNDS
Once your returned items are received in undamaged and unworn conditions, refund will be made via the original payment method within 14 days.
WARRANTY
Gold vermeil (Gold plated sterling silver) jewelry has a 6 months warranty. 8 karat, solid 14 karat or solid 18 karat gold jewelry has a one-year warranty. The warranty covers manufacturing defects of material or workmanship, starting from the date of purchase. The warranty excludes coverage for lost items, loss of gemstones, changes in appearance, discoloration, damages caused by accident ( for instance bent or cracked ring, broken chain and scratches etc.), gradual degradation of all or part of the goods due to normal wear and tear, abuse, negligence, improper use or storage of the product, modification or use outside White Basis's material guide.
